OMODA updates its star SUV: the OMODA 5 with more technology, efficiency, style and a new 145 CV engine

The OMODA 5 MY2025 arrives with a new 145 CV engine, lower consumption and lower emissions, while keeping its competitive price and 7-year warranty

The OMODA brand continues its rapid rise in the Spanish market with a significant update to its successful model, the OMODA 5. A SUV with petrol power, which we have already been able to test and which has won over many since its debut just a few months ago, now receives a series of improvements under the name OMODA 5 MY2025. From October onwards, this renewed version will be available, maintaining its competitive prices and financing conditions, which ensures its prominence in the country’s sales charts.

New, more efficient and eco-friendly engine

The OMODA 5 MY2025 benefits from a new 1.6 turbo petrol engine producing 145 CV, which, unlike the previous version that delivered 185 CV, has now been optimised to reduce emissions and comply with Euro6E standards. Thanks to a maximum torque of 275 Nm and a consumption of just 7 l/100 km, this new powertrain balances performance and sustainability, achieving a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 10.1 seconds and a top speed of 195 km/h. In addition, the improvement in emissions (159 g/km) also reduces the registration tax, keeping the price unchanged.

Complete and technological interior

The OMODA 5 2025 interior has been completely redesigned to offer a more intuitive and technological experience. The model features a 12.3-inch digital display that centralises the management of infotainment, climate control and telephony, complemented by touch and voice controls. The floating centre console adds elegance and functionality, with a 50W wireless charger and multiple USB and USB-C connections.

Materials and finishes have also improved, bringing the OMODA 5 closer to standards found in higher segments, and a more versatile boot is included, with two adjustable shelves to optimise cargo space.

A renewed exterior with practical details

On the outside, the OMODA 5 MY2025 introduces subtle but noticeable changes, such as the inclusion of the word OMODA in the centre of the rear lights, 18″ wheels with Kumho tyres and new colour options. It also comes standard with roof bars for greater load capacity and improved parking sensors in the front grille.

An improved entry-level trim without a price increase

The Comfort trim of the OMODA 5 2025 has been upgraded, incorporating features from more advanced versions, such as the mirror with USB interface, high beam assist, rain sensor and USB sockets for the rear seats. Despite these additions, the price of the entry-level model remains at 27,900 euros, while the top-of-the-range Premium version will be available for 29,900 euros.
