Land Rover Defender "Eivissa" Limited Edition: an exclusive tribute to Ibiza with only 6 units
Inspired by the colours and energy of Ibiza, the Land Rover Defender Eivissa Limited Edition comes in two unique configurations: Sunrise and Noontide, with only six units available
Land Rover has unveiled its new Defender Eivissa Limited Edition, an exclusive and extremely limited version of the iconic off-roader, of which only six units will be built in total. Inspired by the vibrant colours and unique energy of the Mediterranean island of Ibiza, this special edition of the Defender seeks to capture the essence of one of Spain’s best-known destinations. The units will be available in two unique configurations: Sunrise and Noontide, with three vehicles produced for each.
Orders for this exclusive limited edition will only be available during the Destination Defender Ibiza event, which takes place from 13 to 29 September. The event is a tribute to the history and culture of Ibiza, a place that blends a vibrant nightlife with a deep connection to nature. In addition to the chance to acquire one of these rare editions, attendees will be able to enjoy unique activities such as off-road routes, yoga sessions, coasteering and gastronomic experiences featuring the island’s local flavours.

Two configurations: Sunrise and Noontide
The Defender Eivissa edition is offered in two versions: the Sunrise, which features a vibrant yellow tone combined with gloss black details, and the Noontide, with a soft light blue complemented by white details. The Sunrise evokes Ibiza’s “magical yellow of dawn”, while the Noontide is inspired by the blue of the sky and the Mediterranean, which contrasts with the island’s white houses.

Cultural and historical tribute
Land Rover has not revealed specific technical features of the Eivissa models, although they are expected to include the high-end equipment typical of its vehicles. However, the special edition stands out mainly for its tribute to the history and culture of Ibiza. The production of six units carries symbolic meaning: the island’s original name, “Iboshim”, was given by the Phoenicians in honour of Bes, a deity linked to the number six, protection and domestic well-being.

Although Land Rover has yet to reveal the official price of the Defender Eivissa limited edition, everything suggests it will be a luxury reserved for a select few. The standard Defender already starts at 107,500 euros in its petrol version and 68,588 euros in the hybrid variant, so it is foreseeable that the Sunrise and Noontide editions will far exceed these prices.
