Opel Corsa "40 years", a limited edition to celebrate the anniversary
The Opel Corsa “40 years” will be available in the coming weeks and we are sure it will be a huge success.

The brand, part of the Stellantis group, has launched an exclusive limited edition to mark the anniversary of one of its flagship models. We are talking about the Opel Corsa “40 years”, a special series painted in red with black details. In addition, the new Corsa features a modern reinterpretation of the Corsa A’s tartan seat upholstery. It is worth mentioning that each car will have an exclusive plaque inside, engraved from 0001 to 1982.
It is important to remember that the Opel Corsa has had six generations of genuine success on the market, with more than 14 million units produced worldwide. Now, while demand for this best-selling city car is higher than ever, especially for the 100% electric Corsa-e, Opel will celebrate this anniversary with the special series “Corsa 40 Years”, which will go on sale over the coming weeks in several European markets.

The limited edition of the Opel Corsa will be limited to 1,982 units and will come in Rekord Red, an original colour first used on the Opel Corsa A. The contrasting black colour is applied to its roof and to various details, such as the lightning bolt logo; the Opel Blitz, the tailgate opening area and the “Corsa” badge in the centre. 17-inch alloy wheels in glossy black with matt grey inserts emphasise its dynamic look.
Inside, the Opel Corsa “40 Years” draws not only on nostalgia but also on modernity. Its cabin has an unconventional style, just as the first generation did, especially thanks to the modern reinterpretation of the original tartan seat upholstery. The brand has assured that “its lucky owners will also be able to display the same timeless design, at no extra cost, with the two limited-edition tartan sock pairs in both the current and the original design”.
In addition, each unit of the Opel Corsa “40 years” will carry its own numbered plaque, from 0001 to 1982. It is located on the black decorative trim of the dashboard on the front passenger side. Furthermore, as on all Corsas, this special series offers numerous standard comfort and safety features, such as the sound system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED headlights, forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection assistant.
