Opel includes these seats with AGR certification in the Astra from €24,500
The latest generation of the Opel Astra improves comfort and ergonomics in the compact segment with seats certified by AGR

The Opel Astra once again sets the standard in the automotive market with its latest generation, which stands out not only for its design and performance, but especially for the comfort of its seats. Certified by the prestigious German organisation AGR (Aktion Gesunder Rücken e.V.) (campaign for a healthy back), these seats are designed to provide maximum well-being and prevent back problems common on long journeys.
The importance of seats in a car is undeniable, although it is often underestimated. The seats of the Opel Astra have been meticulously developed by the brand’s engineers and designers to offer a comfortable and healthy driving experience. This attention to detail translates into seats with an optimised foam density, available in “Sport” and “Comfort” versions, and a seat position 12 mm lower than in the previous generation, which improves handling and the sensation of sporty driving.

The Opel Astra offers ergonomically active front seats, with adjustable headrests, electric lumbar support and an extendable thigh support. The seat recline can be adjusted electrically, allowing a personalised setup with up to 18 different directions and 8 manual adjustments. Premium materials such as Nappa leather and Alcantara® complete the comfort and stand out as this is not a common option in the segment.
In addition to personalised adjustments, the Astra’s seats include advanced features such as massage for the driver and ventilation for both front seats, integrated heating, and it can even extend to the outer rear seats.

The AGR Certification: a seal of quality and comfort
The AGR certification is a mark of quality that guarantees the ergonomic and healthy design of the Opel Astra’s seats. This independent organisation, made up of doctors and postural health specialists, evaluates and certifies the best seats on the market. The Astra’s seats meet AGR’s strict criteria, which include a robust structure and an adjustable backrest that provides optimal support for the spine, ensuring correct and comfortable posture during journeys.
With a starting price of €24,500, the Opel Astra positions itself as a highly competitive and well-equipped option to cover the compact segment.
