Pagani begins delivering the first Zonda R units to its owners

As you will surely remember, some months ago we had the opportunity to attend the Spanish presentation of a vehicle as special as it is exclusive, the Pagani Zonda R (part 1, part 2), a car that Horacio Pagani, the company’s CEO, presented to us as the testing laboratory where engineers tried out various mechanisms that would later be installed in the Huayra.

Unfortunately we did not get the chance to get behind the wheel of a Huayra, but it must be said that the experience of riding as co-driver around the Ascari circuit in Ronda in this beast was something unique for everyone present, so much so that none of us could get out of it with composure; after the lap, everyone’s legs were trembling in a truly terrifying way.

Well then, after all this it is no surprise that the few lucky people who have managed to secure one of the 10 units that Pagani has built of this vehicle, homologated solely for track use, are impatiently waiting to receive their exclusive car, which, as it could not be otherwise, will be handed over on the track.

At this event, as it could not be otherwise, Mr. Marchettino has recorded a delicious video that will surely make you vibrate and understand much better the thrill of taking a lap in this monster of the asphalt. The video was specifically filmed at the Adria International circuit, located in northern Italy.
