Performmaster C 63 V8 Final Edition: the latest version with a V8 producing over 610 CV
German tuner Performmaster has just unveiled its latest creation based on the popular C63 AMG, as a farewell to the brilliant and unmatched V8

The Mercedes-AMG C63 is undoubtedly one of the most suitable platforms for tuners to showcase what they are capable of, especially when it houses a great twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, like the one in the latest generation of the model presented at the New York International Auto Show in 2018.
Now, with the next generation of the model ready to take over from its predecessor, which will do without its V8, the German tuner Performmaster has unveiled its new Performmaster C 63 V8 Final Edition, which, in addition to receiving a truly radical look, has been fitted with a series of upgrades under the bonnet that take it beyond 610 CV.
A generous dose of carbon fibre
Starting with its styling, the front of this C 63 reworked by Performmaster features a grille typical of the tuner, made entirely of carbon fibre, a bumper with large air intakes, and several inserts – including the splitter – also in carbon fibre.

From the side, the model’s distinctive gills remain, though again in carbon fibre, and a stripe running along the upper part of its side skirts has been added, combined with its black AMG alloy wheels with a red trim.
At the rear, the Performmaster C 63 features an aggressive diffuser and a subtle spoiler in carbon fibre, four exhaust outlets of almost square shape and large size, and the Performmaster logo replacing the brand’s star on the boot lid.

As for its interior, the tuner has not yet shown any images, but given how Performmaster usually works, carbon fibre trim and a specific steering wheel and upholstery are guaranteed.
The heart of the Performmaster AMG C 63 V8 Final Edition
With its exterior and interior styling now covered, we come to its mechanics, our favourite part of this creation, headed by the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, which, thanks to a new control unit and several modified components, boasts no less than 612 CV of power and 840 Nm of torque, enabling it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 310 km/h.
