Peugeot 2008 Crossway, with more equipment than the Allure version

Peugeot has announced the launch of a special edition for the 2008, its smallest crossover, based on the 208 city car. Its commercial name will be 2008 Crossway, and it positions itself as the best-equipped edition on sale, upgrading the equipment of the Allure trim.
It is already available at the brand’s dealer network with a starting price of 18,000€, promotions, discounts and financing included.
Based on the top-of-the-range version (Allure), the 2008 Crossway is externally distinguished from the 2008 Allure only by the screen-printed logos specific to this version. It shares alloy wheels and moldings with the Allure.
Inside, we find more obvious changes thanks to the so-called “Look Crossway”, which includes door sill trims, logos specific to this special edition or specific floor mats. In addition, being based on the Allure trim, the standard equipment is quite extensive, including Alcantara upholstery with contrast stitching, “Plena Flor” leather steering wheel or tinted rear windows.

Of course, among others, there is a two-zone climate control, the “Grip Control” traction system, the rear parking sensor, rear-view mirrors with chrome moldings and electric adjustment and folding, or the Cornering lighting system, capable of illuminating via the fog lights the area we are heading towards.
Mechanically, the 2008 Crossway can be combined with a three-cylinder Puretech petrol engine (1.2 Puretech S&S 110 CV) and two four-cylinder diesel engines (1.6L BlueHDi 100 CV S&S and 1.6L BlueHDi 120 CV S&S).
In this way, the 2008 improves its offer to customers, making it more attractive, something very important in one of the most contested segments of the Spanish market, where the 2008 has to compete, among others, with the Ford EcoSport or with the all-powerful Renault Captur, the king of the segment.
