Peugeot e-Traveller: we know the price of the electric van
Peugeot has just announced the arrival of the new Peugeot e-Traveller 2021, a 100% electric variant that comes with a range of up to 330 kilometres
Peugeot is proving to be one of the brands most committed to electric mobility, as its latest batch of vehicles demonstrates. However, this is only the beginning, and the new Peugeot e-Traveller is irrefutable proof of that. The French firm has just announced the arrival of its new electric van, designed to serve as an industrial and family vehicle without emitting a single trace of CO2, in line with its new commitment to the planet and the environment.
This move by Peugeot shows that we are getting ever closer to electric vehicles becoming a travel option as feasible as a combustion car is today. The Peugeot e-Traveller arrives precisely as that: a car designed for large families who need a spacious vehicle to get around the city, or for taxi drivers, a form of mobility that makes more and more sense in this sector.
For now, the lion brand will offer two battery levels for the new Peugeot e-Traveller: the more modest one at 50 kWh and the more powerful one at 75 kWh. With the first, the French van claims a range of 230 kilometres on the WLTP cycle, a figure that rises to 330 kilometres if we opt for the more powerful version.

At the same time, the firm offers three equipment levels: Compact, Standard and Long, with the option of fitting up to nine seats. Nevertheless, Peugeot also offers a shuttle variant of the e-Traveller designed for taxis, private hire vehicles, hotels, airports and so on, linked to the Business trim.
As far as mechanics go, we find a 100% electric motor capable of delivering 136 CV and 260 Nm of torque. This powertrain sits at the front, leaving the rest of the floor free for the battery in order to achieve a well-balanced weight distribution. However, Peugeot has focused on ride comfort, an essential trait in a vehicle like the Peugeot e-Traveller.

Furthermore, there is no need to wait to get hold of a unit, since Peugeot has announced that the new e-Traveller is available across its entire dealer network. Buyers will have to part with 40,230 euros for the new electric van from Peugeot, a figure that drops to a more affordable 33,190 euros after applying campaigns and the MOVES II Plan.
