Peugeot Fractal: An innovative and striking concept we will see at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show

We have been watching as Peugeot unveils the mystery surrounding a concept car that will be presented at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is the Peugeot Fractal, a car that aims to surprise. And it does, because few concept cars come from this brand and it wants this one to be remembered well. The first thing they did was release a short teaser video of the model, but very recently they released a series of photographs that reveal the final look of this car.

What these photos show is a car with a sporty spirit that has a four-seat configuration, with two seats at the front and two at the rear and a convertible roof. But neither the video that heads this article nor the images in the gallery let us see anything else about this car. We do see, however, a display that reads with 62% charge it is capable of covering 98 kilometres.

With that data we can tell it has electric capacity, but we cannot be sure whether it is a 100% electric vehicle or a hybrid that works with a combustion engine combined with an electric one. No exhaust pipe can be seen in the images, so we will have to wait a little until we see this car in person at the German event and find out how it works and what it is capable of .

We stay with the car’s exterior, which has a sporty body, with two colours present on the bodywork and a front end featuring the grille where the brand’s emblematic image can be found. The LED headlights help give that attractive and innovative look to a car that will not, we assume, reach production, but that will serve as a testing ground for some technologies that will indeed reach the brand’s road models.
