Peugeot offers e-HDi for the 3008 and 5008

Direct-injection diesel engines combined with Start/Stop are part of the e-HDi technology of Peugeot, which will now be integrated into the 3008 and 5008, after first being introduced on the 508 and 308.
Fitting this system delivers fuel savings of up to 15% in urban driving, while CO2 emissions, on the combined cycle, stand at 122 grams per kilometre for the 3008 and 127 grams for the 5008.
The previous 1.6 HDi FAP engine will give way to the e-HDi units, although the previous-generation diesel will continue to be sold in the 3008, with some revisions, such as the addition of a six-speed manual gearbox with paddle shifters.
