Peugeot Traveller i-Lab, a concept car that makes work easier during transfers

Business trips are usually full of paperwork to be completed before arriving at the destination, unexpected calls, documents to review and who knows how many other things. The journey in the company vehicle is used to prepare meetings and finalise the presentations needed for that all-important encounter. That is why it is necessary to have enough space and equipment to deal with all of these tasks.

Peugeot has presented a vehicle designed for those journeys in which a relaxed and useful working environment is needed, one that encourages teamwork while on the move. This is the Peugeot Traveller i-Lab, a model based on the Traveller, adapted to the business lifestyle. Its dimensions make it ideal for city driving without sacrificing the space that is so necessary, and it also provides everything needed to keep working if required.

The interior is designed to encourage communication between the occupants, who are seated in four individual seats arranged around a 32-inch touchscreen that can be positioned in different ways according to the needs of each moment. As the various mobile devices are also expected to be used, there are several inductive charging points to keep their batteries charged and ready at all times.

There is also a connectivity point that keeps all passengers conveniently connected thanks to Samsung technology. Sound quality is also important, and to guarantee it the car features an audio system made up of 17 speakers that receive sound from three amplifiers, which send it through a digital audio processor. It is also equipped with an augmented reality visor, as this is a concept that seeks to surprise us with the latest technology.

On the outside it keeps the look of the Traveller, while highlighting some aspects. The sliding door, whose closing and opening is activated by a foot movement, makes access easier and allows passengers, once on board, to enjoy great comfort even if they still have to keep working. On the driver’s side it also features the latest driver assistance systems, so that, in addition to being practical, this 3.0 shuttle is also safe behind the wheel.
