Peugeot unveils the Electric Partner, which will be manufactured in Vigo

The French brand Peugeot presented yesterday its latest novelty among commercial vehicles, the electric Peugeot Partner. This new version, like the current Partner, will be manufactured at PSA Peugeot-Citroën’s plant in Vigo.

It features an electric motor of the synchronous type with permanent magnets, capable of delivering a maximum power of 67 CV and 200 Nm of torque. It also has two lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 22.5 kWh, located in the lower part, so they do not affect its load capacity.

Like most electric models, the Peugeot Partner has two charging modes: normal and fast charging. The first requires between 6 and 9 hours from a standard socket, while fast charging allows the battery to reach 80% in just half an hour. As for maximum range, it stands at 170 km.

Among its other features, it adds a dual energy recovery system that regenerates energy during deceleration and, during active braking, converts kinetic energy into electrical energy. It also adds stability control and hill start assist. Finally, regarding its market launch, it will be available from the second quarter of next year.
