F40 Ferrari Curiosities Supercars
A destroyed Ferrari F40 in Vancouver in the rain
After showing off his prized Ferrari F40, the owner sent it into the barriers on a Vancouver motorway.

Supercars and water are like cats and dogs: they will never get along, especially if their tyres aren’t in the best possible condition. The star of this accident is none other than a Ferrari F40, one of the greatest supercars of all time, a car that could be found on the wall of any good motoring enthusiast.
It all happened on a motorway in Vancouver when its owner, who is thought to have been coming from showing his car at a motor show or event, was at the wheel of his Ferrari F40 and ended up losing control of the vehicle and crashing it into the crash barriers. The main cause of the accident was a wet road surface.

It is sad to see such an impressive machine of this calibre end up like this. Luckily the damage appears to be repairable and for a good sum of money it will be back to new. There are no fatalities to lament either and although I don’t know for sure, the driver has probably suffered some injury.
As you can see in the video below, the engine was mainly damaged by the underside of the car, as a large puddle of oil can be seen.
