Polestar will arrive in Spain during the first half of 2022
The Swedish brand, which has emerged from Volvo, wants to increase its presence in the international market and will reach up to 14 countries where it was not present before.

Polestar is a brand that has emerged from Volvo and that specialises in high-performance electric vehicles. Its appearance not many years ago was a revolution in the European market with very attractive vehicles. But its presence in this market was very limited, with barely two models that are not available in every country. But that is going to change from 2022 onwards and we will soon be able to see its models in our country.
For the time being, 10 countries enjoy the presence of Polestar dealerships. In 2019 the brand had 40 dealerships spread across those markets. By the end of 2021 the number had grown to 86 outlets in these markets. Many of these dealerships are located in the United States, one of the markets that is of greatest interest to Polestar.

The plans of Polestar involve opening new markets. Specifically, the brand indicates that new dealerships will open in 14 new markets. Spain is on that list, where the brand will begin to be sold, together with Portugal. There are other countries that have been revealed, such as Israel, which will also receive Polestar models next year.
Polestar 2, the brand’s great success
The success of the Polestar 2 has helped the brand gain good visibility. This model marked the take-off of Polestar and has even led to the market launch of a front-wheel-drive version, more affordable than the one first launched. In 2020 it managed to sell 10,000 units of this model, so with the expansion into new markets, annual sales of this model, together with those of the rest, are expected to grow.
Objectives of Polestar
Polestar wants to keep growing and plans to reach sales of its models exceeding 290,000 vehicles per year across all its models. And to reach that figure, they plan to launch one new vehicle a year over the next three. For now, you will be able to access all the information on the new vehicles that will soon be available on the Spanish market within a few months.
