Porsche Boxster Spyder for 2010

The Stuttgart brand will use the upcoming car show in the American city of Los Angeles to present a new version of the well-known Porsche Boxster, a mid-engined model with an efficient and lightweight powertrain.
The Porsche Boxster Spyder has been designed specifically for open-top driving, so, as is traditional, its operation will be manual. However, we will have to wait until February 2010 to see it on the roads.
As for its engine, it is a 2.4-litre six-cylinder with direct injection that produces around 320 CV of power, paired with a PDK dual-clutch gearbox. In addition, a series of changes have been introduced to improve its road handling, such as a weight reduction and a stiffer suspension.
With a 0 to 100 km/h time of just 4.8 seconds, this new version features the Launch Control launch system, reaching a top speed of around 267 km/h. Finally, in Spain the Porsche Boxster Spyder will be available from 70,831 euros.
