Porsche Carrera GT: Exclusive Remodelling

The Porsche Carrera GT, 15 years after its debut, remains one of the most important supercars in history. At the personal request of a client, Porsche Classic has carried out a reconstruction.

For this project, the customer wanted a complete and personalised reconstruction. A process that involved completely dismantling the individual parts of all the components of the Porsche GT and reviewing each component, restoring or replacing it.Porsche Carrera GT

Porsche Carrera GT: New additions

With a ten-cylinder V engine producing 612 CV derived from a Formula 1 powertrain, this model gives its most unusual customer an unmatched driving experience.

The Carrera GT received a full finish, with a refurbishment of its engine components, transmission and chassis. Without doubt, a spectacular project with which the German brand wants to demonstrate its build quality.

Regarding the bodywork design, the owner chose Oak Green Metallic paint, a colour that appeared in the 1970s but never on the Carrera GT. Among its interior and exterior features we also find:

  • Tyres with five magnesium spokes, based on the legendary BBS racing wheels
  • Star-spoke wheels painted in gold with a rim ring made of silver
  • Blue and silver centre lock with the Porsche emblem in colour
  • Steering wheel trimmed with a gold stripe flanked on both sides by one in Oak Green.
  • Carbon fibre parts trim, with 350 hours of sanding and coating those parts, thus preventing them from yellowing over time.

The vehicle is now ready to be delivered. Porsche Classic first presented it at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, with the attendance of 100 guests, including its owner.
