Porsche Cayenne 2024: this is the interior of the electric Cayenne
The new Porsche Cayenne will be presented on April 18, but the brand has wanted to show what the interior of the electric model will be like for 2024.

The Porsche Cayenne changed the direction of the brand a long time ago, introducing the SUV body style into the manufacturer’s lineup. Now is the time to take one more step and for this model to once again be a point of renewal in its range. The presentation of the new Cayenne, this time electric, is scheduled for April 18.
But before that event, Porsche has unveiled the car’s interior and we can see some details of it. For example, we have confirmed that it will feature up to seven screens, each dedicated to different functions. In front of the driver there is a 12.6-inch screen for the instrumentation, so the driver has a clear view of everything related to driving.

The central screen measures 12.3 inches and offers connectivity with the smartphone thanks to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes the Spotify and Apple Music apps, along with a video function that allows viewing content from Screenhits TV, though only when the vehicle is stationary. Porsche says there are other ways to interact with the car’s system, such as using Siri for that purpose.

The big novelty comes in the form of an optional 10.9-inch screen, placed in front of the front passenger seat. It is integrated into the dashboard panel and provides access to the navigation system, so it can make the passenger a co-pilot with trip information.
But its main function is to offer multimedia content. To avoid distractions, this screen features a filter that prevents the driver’s position from seeing the content on the screen.
A more comfortable driver
The layout of the instrumentation in the new Porsche Cayenne is more technological than before, but it still features a large number of physical controls for vehicle functions. They are within the driver’s reach and are operated intuitively. To the left of the steering wheel is a start/stop button, and the gear selector, which is small, is located on the right side.
The gear selector was placed on the center console, but with the new position it frees up that space so that climate controls can be placed there, combining physical and digital elements for better control. There are also touch-sensitive buttons, along with a physical knob for the entertainment system volume and additional storage.
The steering wheel is taken from the 911 and has been modified to suit the SUV model. It is equipped with a driving mode selector, with the positions Normal, Off-Road, Sport and Sport Plus. A lever helps access and properly control the driver assistance systems.
Other elements that have changed are the air vents and door panels, along with a more elegant design clock. The wireless charger for mobile devices has also been improved, and it also features two USB-C ports in the center compartment, plus two more at the rear. These offer fast charging, so charging mobile devices will be much more practical.
