Macan Porsche Range / versions SUV
Porsche Macan GTS, 360 CV of racing sensations

Porsche has announced the launch of a new version for the Macan range, its smallest SUV model and younger sibling of the well-known Cayenne.
It is a sporty edition called GTS, a name we have already seen on other models such as the Cayenne, the Boxster and the 911 itself.
The Macan, an SUV based on the chassis of the Audi Q5, is one of the German company’s most successful products since its launch in 2013. It also offers an extensive range of engines with outputs reaching 400 CV, more than any other SUV in its segment.

However, the people at Porsche decided there were still “gaps” in the range to fill, and have entered the arena with the new Macan GTS. Following the GTS philosophy, this version is not positioned as the most powerful in the range, but as the most sporty-focused one.
Aesthetically it stands apart from its siblings thanks to several details painted in matte black, such as the grille bars, the 20″ wheels and the lower door moldings. Other details can also be found in gloss black, such as the rear tailgate spoiler and the model badge.
Inside, the red details stand out, a signature of the GTS models. Thus, the seat stitching -sporty seats trimmed in leather and Alcantara- and steering wheel, as well as the background of the rev counter, are finished in this colour, a shade also found on the seatbelts.

Mechanically the GTS features a new version of the well-known 3.0 V6 fitted to the other models in the range. In the GTS it delivers 360 CV and 500 Nm, enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds when combined with the Sport Chrono package. Top speed is 256 km/h.
The chassis is completed by an oversized braking system, air suspension lowered 15 mm compared with the Macan Turbo, dynamically adjustable damper stiffness, and a recalibrated PSM electronic stability system that allows more sporty and dynamic driving. Its price in Spain starts at €85,823.
