Porsche Macan MY2016, more equipment and new styling details

In just a couple of years, the Macan has become one of the most important models for Porsche thanks to its high sales volume.
Now, halfway through the life of this first generation, it receives a slight restyling to refresh its image and keep it just as popular.
Aesthetically, the details that change on the Macan MY2016 are practically minimal. The current Macan has established itself as a well-proportioned model, with very successful lines that still appeal today. However, the guys at Porsche have opted to update it very slightly by adding headlights with Full LED technology which, besides being adaptive and featuring an automatic high-beam system, are able to communicate with the navigation system to provide better lighting based on GPS data. New paint colours are also included, as well as front fog lights, also LED.
Inside, the most striking change is found in the central screen, since the PCM system has been modernised, resulting in a more intuitive system. The screen is now larger, with higher resolution, and accepts multi-touch gestures. The system offers the possibility of creating a Wi-Fi network in the cabin, and is compatible with Apple CarPlay.

The Macan Turbo, the most powerful and expensive model in the range, receives two new optional packs exclusive to this version. The exterior pack includes two-tone multi-spoke 21″ alloy wheels, taken directly from the 911 Turbo, gloss black air intakes and darkened rear lights.
The interior pack consists of the extended Alcantara upholstery option with contrast stitching, headrests with the word “Turbo” embroidered, illuminated door sills and two new possible colours for the stitching: Garnet Red or Rhodium Silver.
Mechanically, the Macan MY2016 receives no modification, so it will continue to be offered in any of its four versions, one of them diesel (Macan S Diesel) and the other three petrol (Macan S, Macan GTS and Macan Turbo). All mount turbocharged V6 engines.
