Porsche unveils its Panamera Race Car

Since February of this year, Porsche and N.Technology have been developing together a competition version of the Porsche Panamera. After months of hard work the result was unveiled yesterday, and they hope the car can make its debut at the upcoming Superstars Series in Hockenheim in Germany on June 12 and 13
Built on the chassis of a Panamera S, great things are expected of the new model. The V8 engine of the Panamera S has been upgraded to 450 CV, an increase of almost 60 CV over the Panamera S. In addition, the engineers’ hard work is reflected in a weight reduction of 480 kg bringing the model down to 1,320 kg.
Porsche has decided to keep rear-wheel drive, but thanks to a 6-speed sequential gearbox the Porsche should, in principle, be much more manageable. To further improve the car’s handling, a new braking system, suspension and new rims and tyres have been fitted, all aimed at extracting maximum performance.
Finally, the aerodynamic adjustments such as the front and rear wing and the rear spoiler, ensure maximum efficiency of this new creation by Porsche and N.Technology.
