PowerGo offers a dynamic charging tariff for the first time in Spain
Charging during periods of low energy demand at PowerGo charging stations will allow you to pay a lower price for each kWh consumed.
Electric vehicle drivers travelling around Spain now have the opportunity to benefit from an innovative dynamic charging tariff system, implemented by PowerGo. This initiative, a pioneer in our country, allows drivers to enjoy lower prices when charging during periods of lower demand at all charging points managed by the company in Spain.
PowerGo’s dynamic tariff system adjusts charging costs in line with fluctuations in the European electricity market (EPEX). This means that prices vary depending on energy supply and demand, so during those hours of the day when it is cheapest it will be possible to enjoy a reduced tariff when charging your vehicle.

PowerGo is the first operator in Spain to offer a charging tariff with dynamic pricing, with the only requirement to take advantage of it being to use the company’s mobile app. Customers who use compatible third-party apps, or who prefer to use alternative payment methods, will be charged a different tariff that may include additional costs.
“With dynamic tariffs, we encourage electric vehicle drivers to charge when there is greater availability of renewable energy on the grid. This not only reduces costs, but also makes charging more sustainable. By linking our prices to market conditions, we promote the intelligent use of energy and contribute to a more efficient charging infrastructure that is ready for the future.”
A continuously growing charging network
PowerGo currently has more than 50 charging stations in Spain, where it is possible to find fast DC charging points of up to 320 kW. The company also plans to continue expanding its charging network across Spanish territory over the coming months. For example, 24 fast charging points are being installed at service stations in the Community of Madrid, out of a total of 126 already planned across Spain.

With this interesting initiative, PowerGo not only facilitates access to more sustainable charging with more competitive prices, but also reinforces the company’s commitment to the transition to electric mobility and the development of a wide charging network that meets the needs of electric vehicle drivers in Spain.
