After the good news about the sale of Saab to Spyker, the Trollhättan company continues working to quickly bring its flagship, the new Saab 9-5, to market. It seems they are getting their act together, because today the price list for the Saab 9-5 in Belgium is already known.

It must be said that the prices are quite competitive, at least for the Belgian market. It is also worth highlighting that the Saab 9-5 is a crucial model for the Swedish brand and the start of its new era. It will be a model on which considerable emphasis is placed, and therefore they will try to offer a good balance between quality and price.

The range is made up of two petrol engines, the 2.0T with 220 CV and the 2.8T with 300 CV, and a single diesel engine available, the 2.0 TID with 160 CV. These are engines shared with the Insignia, and the range will possibly be gradually completed, since there is talk of the arrival of a 1.6 turbo petrol with 180 CV, and another diesel engine could also be added to the range, as the 160 CV diesel is somewhat limited.

The price list for Belgium is as follows:

  • 2.0T 220 CV Vector 39.950 euros
  • 2.0T 220 CV Vector Aut. 41.950 euros
  • 2.0T 220 CV Aero 44.850 euros
  • 2.0T 220 CV Aero Aut. 46.850 euros
  • 2.0T 220 CV AWD Aero 47.650 euros
  • 2.0T 220 CV AWD Aero Aut. 49.650 euros
  • 2.8T 300 CV AWD Aero Aut. 55.600 euros
  • 2.0 TiD 160 CV Linear 35.950 euros
  • 2.0 TiD 160 CV Linear Aut. 37.950 euros
  • 2.0 TiD 160 CV Vector 37.950 euros
  • 2.0 TiD 160 CV Vector Aut. 39.950 euros

Aunque no pertenezcan al mismo segmento me parece mucha diferencia de dinero si lo comparamos con el Insignia del mismo motor y seguro que éste último mejor equipado.
