Project CARS: a simulator that surprised me
Project CARS is a racing simulator that aims to be as realistic as possible and is developed publicly by the community.

I’ve just found out that Project CARS exists, and the truth is that, having had no time to touch a sim wheel for a while, I hadn’t seen such a recent leap forward in simulation. It’s not only the almost perfect graphics, but the degree of control over the car. But before getting into the subject, I’ll give you a rundown of the basics of Project CARS.
Project CARS is a simulator produced by Slightly Mad Studios, who have already been involved in the Shift series of the well-known Need for Speed. Like other games of this type, it features several competition modes with different vehicles, co-driver mode, online competitions and much more. But what seems most real is the game’s physics, just as the lighting of the environment is no less impressive.
The problem is that to download each weekly or monthly alpha version you have to shell out at least £10 (don’t be alarmed, since the “donation” to become a Senior Manager of the game costs 25,000). Below I leave you the trailer that Slightly Mad Studios has released recently. In the meantime, I’ll keep looking for a way to download one of the Alpha versions.
