PSA Peugeot Citroën changes and announces new developments for the coming years

Change is necessary to keep moving forward, so it is no surprise that large companies also consider from time to time taking a step forward and showing us that they are active and adapting to new times. PSA Peugeot Citroën has undergone one of these changes and has decided to tackle a change of image that will lead to several new developments that we will see starting next year.
So, from now on we will know it as Grupo PSA, and it is under this new image and brand that they have made the announcement of what we can expect in the coming years from the three brands the group encompasses. Both Citroën and Peugeot, as well as the Premium brand DS, will have a renewal of their range with new vehicles that will strengthen the conglomerate’s presence throughout the world.
The company has said it wants to launch a new model each year, in every market and for each of the three brands. It has not given details of all the vehicles on the design table, but it has said that in total there will be 26 new passenger vehicles and 8 light commercial vehicles, a good number of new developments.
The change of image will bring new models to Grupo PSA
Among these vehicles, things have been refined even further. Among these new developments that will be present in the future catalogue of Grupo PSA are seven plug-in hybrids and four fully electric models. We do not know more details about these, although with four electric cars planned, we may see several configurations and power outputs, from small city cars to a more “serious” saloon. But for the moment, everything remains in the realm of speculation.

We will have to keep an eye on the improvements they are going to propose for their range, because they may offer more information in the coming days. We just have to wait and see how they approach this change or whether everything will end up being merely cosmetic. Are you eager to see the next proposals from Grupo PSA?
