Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate Edition: exclusive, radical and definitive

The first Range Rover Sport SVR hit the market in 2014 as a showcase of what Land Rover was capable of, giving its flagship model high-performance capabilities. After more than 20,000 units sold to date and a growing demand every year, the latest creation from the British brand is the Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate Edition, our protagonist today.

This creation has been signed off by the SV Bespoke team, the division of the Technical Centre of Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations, which has created this special edition, even more exclusive than the conventional version of the SVR, so to speak.

Exclusive finish

The new SVR Ultimate Edition can be configured in three colour options, of which the Maya Blue Gloss and Marl Grey Gloss are hand-finished and include a base of fine crushed-glass particles that give them a reflective appearance and an intense shine, a clear sign of the exclusivity of this machine. In addition to the colours already mentioned, there is also Ligurian Black with a satin finish.

As for its design, Fuji White has been painted in contrast on details such as the side gills, the surrounds of the badges on the tailgate, and the carbon fibre bonnet painted in the body colour. On this bodywork, for example, on the B-pillar there is an identification plate bearing the signature of SV Bespoke.

As an option, the roof can be fitted in Narvik Black, which, together with the forged alloy wheels of 22 inches with five double spokes in Gloss Black and black brake calipers, gives it a subtly brutal look, the perfect combination of elegance and sportiness.

Sublime cabin

Inside, a cabin of great luxury features once again an exclusive SV Bespoke Ultimate Edition plate, illuminated sill plates displaying the Ultimate Edition name, and gearshift paddles in black anodised metal behind the leather-wrapped sports steering wheel. These details, combined with the Ebony and Cirrus interior visible in the photographs with Performance seats in Windsor leather and suede, create an atmosphere of sportiness, elegance, exclusivity and quality.

Unchanged mechanicals

Under its bonnet is the same 5.0-litre V8 that produces 575 CV in the standard SVR and 700 Nm of torque, allowing the Range to catapult from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 283 km/h.

This edition will be presented at the Special Vehicle Operations stand at the Salon Privé, which will take place at Blenheim Palace (United Kingdom) from 1 to 5 September, where we will learn the final price of this special edition.
