Renault Clio Collection, the third generation at very affordable prices

Renault will continue selling the third generation of its Clio in a special edition called Collection. Its price in Spain starts at €8,650 with government incentives.

Even though the fourth generation of the Clio has recently entered production, Renault will continue producing the third version of the French city car in a special edition called Collection. It will be offered with two trim levels and two different engines. It will have a starting price in the European market of €9,900.

Although it is technologically far behind its predecessor, the Clio Collection will offer two of the latest engines developed by the brand with the diamond, one petrol and one diesel. The first is the well-known four-cylinder, 16-valve unit that displaces 1.2 litres and produces 75 CV. In the second and last case is a diesel engine with the same power but with 1,500 cm3 offering very low consumption.

This version comes as standard with air conditioning, ABS, electric windows and front and side airbags on the front doors, CD radio, 15-inch wheel trims and upholstery exclusive to the Collection. If the owner is a company, fog lights, three rear headrests, driver’s seat height adjustment, cruise control, a better sound system, a navigation system and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors must be added completely free of charge.

On top of all this, Bluetooth, a safety and visibility pack, cruise control or a spare wheel can be added as completely optional extras.

In Spain, with the discounts of the PIVE Plan, the price for the petrol version will be €8,650 while the diesel one rises to €9,750
