Rezvani Beast X, only five units to enjoy its power

The Rezvani Beast family has just welcomed a new member to its exclusive lineup, with more power than the versions released so far and improvements over the model it is based on, of which only five units will be built in a very limited edition

The Rezvani Beast family has welcomed a new member, although very few lucky buyers will have the chance to get behind the wheel. When we talk about limited editions, we usually mean thousands of units, or perhaps a hundred or several dozen. In this case, we are talking about 5 units, so from the outset it is set to become a highly coveted piece.

The Rezvani Beast X surpasses in power any of the previous versions, thanks to an engine Honda suitably modified to deliver 700 CV at 7,350 rpm, thanks to its forged valves and two Borg Warner turbochargers, along with other changes inside the powerplant that make it more efficient than it was originally.

That power is sent to the rear axle through a six-speed manual gearbox with a limited-slip differential, although a paddle-shift automatic is also offered. With these figures, we can already imagine that it has a very short 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 2.5 seconds. That is 0.2 seconds less than the model it is based on, which produces 500 CV.

This is important, since the Beast X weighs 91 kg more than that model, reaching 839 kg, which should be a handicap in keeping pace, although the greater engine power offsets the added weight. Rezvani says the chassis of this model is made of steel, while the bodywork is carbon fiber. It is fitted with Alcon brake pads, independent aluminum suspension with anti-roll bars at both front and rear, adjustable dampers on both axles, and 19-inch wheels.

This supercar has all the homologations needed to be driven on the street, although it has been designed to give its all on the track. In fact, the five buyers, who will have to pay around $325,000 for each unit built, will have access to several tracks around the world included in the price.
