Rolls Royce Wraith Convertibles Curiosities
Rolls Royce confirms the Wraith Convertible

Torsten Müller-Otvos, CEO of the British luxury marque Rolls Royce, has confirmed a convertible version of the Wraith, the brand’s new coupé based on the Ghost. The second Convertible in the model range would not reach the market before 2015, as the prototype phase has not yet even begun.
This soft-top version will be accompanied by the first facelift of the saloon within a few months, in which the exterior design will be slightly modified, offering customers a more modern look without abandoning the essence of the brand. The Rolls Royce Ghost is expected to mechanically introduce more than 600 CV of power from the V12 of the Wraith.
With both the Wraith Coupé and Convertible, the subsidiary of BMW hopes to increase its production to 5,000 vehicles per year. Currently they assemble around 3,000 cars. The arrival in 2015 of the Wraith Convertible alongside the Coupé will put Rolls Royce in the fight among powerful luxury coupés, a war that, until now, only Bentley has been playing and winning.
It has also been learned that the successor to the Rolls Royce Phantom will reach dealerships within three years. Torsten Müller-Otvos hinted at the possibility of introducing a plug-in hybrid variant for its more eco-conscious customers.
