Rolls-Royce "Spirit of Expression", three unique models bound for the Chinese market
Rolls-Royce returns with three one-offs grouped under the “Spirit of Expression” collection, which will go straight to China

We already know that the work of Rolls-Royce is not limited to manufacturing luxury vehicles; it also focuses, and quite heavily, on personalising those vehicles to each customer’s individual ideas or on creating made-to-order vehicles, unique creations of their models that only one person in the entire world will be able to have and which, obviously, will require a considerable outlay, although I don’t think that will bother them much.
China is an important market for virtually any European brand, and it is obviously also so for Rolls-Royce, a brand that inaugurated the Private Office Shanghai last year and where the first bespoke orders they have requested will go. Specifically there are three, a collection called “Spirit of Expression” which includes a Ghost, a Phantom and a Spectre that will stand out for a unique colour scheme that will leave no one indifferent.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended “Magnetism”

Based on the Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended, which are the versions with greater space for the rear seats, the one-off Magnetism is presented, in which the brand has tried to capture the aura of magnetism of a beach bay under the night sky.

Its bodywork uses a two-tone finish with the Cala Luna Sand shade combined with Kabira Blue, accented by a diplomatic line running the length of the vehicle, hand-painted and, for this occasion, doubled in Arctic White and Cala Luna Sand. Inside, its Starlight headliner features 768 blue “stars” and 576 white ones along with 8 “shooting stars”, in addition to Blue Grey, Navy Blue and Arctic White leather upholstery with contrasting stitching, embroidered motifs that required 43,096 stitches to create, and open-pore natural wood inserts.
Rolls-Royce Spectre “Escapism”

If the previous model featured elegant and not at all flashy colours, the next unit, based on the Spectre and named Escapism, is the complete opposite, with a body painted to evoke the tropics of South America. Its bodywork is painted in Lantana Red combined with a somewhat more discreet upper section in Tempest Grey. The 23-inch wheels have their centres painted in Lantana Red and the “Spirit of Ecstasy” figure is gently illuminated.

Inside the Spectre Escapism, the colour combination of Selby Grey, Purple Silk and Sunset has been used for the upholstery leather, while the Starlight headliner features 960 stars in the Sunset shade, complemented by 8 shooting stars formed with 192 optical fibres.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended “Expressionism”

The third and final model in this collection is the Ghost Extended, named Expressionism, a model that aims to represent the sunsets on the islands of Boracay, Philippines. To this end its bodywork is painted in Boracay Blue, accented by a hand-painted line in Lime Green that references the island’s flora. The wheels are 21-inch with the centre painted in Orbit Grey and stripes in Lime Green.

Inside, a combination of Artic Black and Artic White has been used for the leather together with Lime Green, a colour that also appears on the seat and door piping and in the contrasting stitching, among other places. To give greater depth and a more realistic interior, the door panels feature leather that has been sewn using two types of stitching and contrast, creating a three-dimensional effect that required 104,268 stitches. Finally, the Starlight headliner features 520 stars in Lime Green and another 520 stars in white along with 8 shooting stars.
