Rossion Q1
The Rossion Q1 is a sports car built in South Africa and sold in the USA, the heir to the British Noble M400, with a 450 hp Duratec V6.

For some of the buyers of sports cars worth hundreds of thousands of euros, the power of their engines or their top speed is not as decisive as the degree of exclusivity achieved within a certain social circle. Some brands that are less well known and produce only a few units a year belong to that small circle of people who like to be seen behind the wheel of cars that almost nobody recognises at first glance, unless they carry a cavallino or a bull on their badge.
One of those brands is Rossion Automotive. This American marque took over from the exodus of Noble Automotive, a British brand that began by building cars very similar to this one but with Ford V6 engines. The American version called Rossion Q1 is derived from one of Noble’s old models, the M400 (we are talking about 2006).

The Rossion Q1 is powered by the Ford V6 Duratec engine, following the same approach that the now-defunct Noble applied to its original models. With 450 hp and twin turbos, Rossion claims a respectable acceleration of 3.1 seconds to 100 km/h and a top speed of 306 km/h. A curious feature of the Rossion Q1 is that each of the 17 colours available to the customer has been named after a racing circuit somewhere in the world, so there is “Catalunya red”, “Laguna Seca blue” or “Spa yellow”, and so on.
For what it offers, the Rossion Q1 is not that expensive, costing around 60,000 euros. At that price, more than one supercar would be in trouble next to the Q1.
