Seat Ibiza 30 Aniversario Edición Limitada: features and price

This year 2014 marks the celebration of the first 30 years of one of the most iconic cars from the quintessentially Spanish brand. The Seat Ibiza was born three decades ago, and among the events prepared to mark this milestone anniversary, the Seat Ibiza 30 Aniversario Edición Limitada has been launched.

Over these years we have seen four generations of this popular car, which throughout its life has become a benchmark for Spanish drivers, especially the younger ones. They have been the ones who chose the model most during its first years as users, and it has known how to adapt over the years.

The Seat Ibiza 30 Aniversario Edición Limitada is powered by a 1.6 TDI CR engine with an output of 105 CV and the Style trim with the three-door SC bodywork. To clearly set it apart from the rest of the versions and give it the look of a genuine Limited Edition, its body colour is Beige Balea.

Its headlights are xenon at the front and LED technology at the rear. The 17-inch black alloy wheels, along with the black door mirror housings and the front grille, also in black, give it a distinctive look. The Seat badge on the B-pillar, redesigned for the occasion and included in this version, also contributes to this.

A new feature is the rear-view camera, which this model’s car is fitted with for the first time. The Alcantara upholstery with beige finishes, which is very prominent in the car’s cabin, is also included. Exclusive elements have been designed so that it can be noticed in every corner of the vehicle.

The safety equipment is the usual for the Style trim, namely front airbags with passenger airbag deactivation, plus head and thorax airbags, and Isofix anchorages with Top Tether on the front seats. A tyre pressure sensor, a hill start assist and cruise control help increase safety at the wheel.

The price of the Seat Ibiza 30 Aniversario Edición Limitada is offered at the brand’s dealerships for €20,769, and with it comes a medal of recognition for a car that has accompanied us since its presentation at the Paris International Motor Show in 1984.
