Seat Leon ST Cupra Black Edition: a sporty family car with 100 units

The Seat Leon ST Cupra has received a limited edition of 100 units featuring several design, aerodynamic and performance improvements. It is available from 50,700 euros.

The Seat Leon ST Cupra has received a new limited edition of 100 units called “Black Carbon”. This sporty family version will only be marketed in the Spanish market and is available from 50,700 euros. Like the standard version, it features a 2.0 TSI engine with 300 CV of power and adds an exterior aerodynamic kit in carbon fibre and a series of performance upgrades.

Carbon fibre aerodynamic kit

Seat Leon ST Cupra Black Carbon incorporates a series of elements in the bodywork that improve the car’s aerodynamic flow and reduce its weight. Among them, the carbon fibre finished parts such as the new front diffuser, side skirts and rear diffuser stand out.

Mechanical and chassis improvements

This limited edition features the same 2.0 TSI engine with 300 CV of power as the standard variant, a powertrain paired with a six-speed DSG automatic gearbox (dual-clutch) and 4Drive all-wheel drive with VAQ self-locking differential. Thanks to this drivetrain, the car reaches a top speed of 250 km/h, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, and achieves an average consumption of 7.2 litres per 100 km. Up to this point, everything is the same as the original model.

However, the Seat Leon ST Cupra Black Carbon also adds four exhaust outlets with an optimised sound system (“Cupra Sound”), 19-inch Cupra alloy wheels finished in Silver Machined, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres and upgraded Brembo brakes.

Exclusive design

In terms of design, the new León ST CUPRA Black Carbon stands out for its “Midnight Black” metallic colour, applied to both the bodywork and the various trim pieces and carbon fibre elements. The car also includes electrically folding exterior mirrors, black roof bars and an exclusive-design front grille finished in gloss black.
