SEAT receives the Smartbest 2017 award thanks to the integration of Amazon Alexa

SEAT is enjoying great acceptance and recognition thanks to its latest vehicles. The Spanish company has been awarded two prizes: the Best Buy Car of Europe 2018 -with the Ibiza being the winner of this edition- and the Smartbest 2017. SEAT already held first place in the Best Buy Car of Europe 2017, achieved by the Ateca.

We should highlight that the new SEAT Ibiza incorporates advanced technology in both safety and connectivity. The Spanish model has some features that have helped it win in its category. Thanks to the new MQB platform, the Ibiza offers a much larger interior space than its exterior appearance suggests and has achieved five stars from Euro NCAP thanks to its sturdy bodywork.

It is also worth noting the many driver assistance systems equipped on the new SEAT Ibiza. The Front Assist stands out especially, a system that performs an emergency braking manoeuvre if the driver does not have time to react. The Smartbest 2017 award has been given to SEAT thanks to the incorporation of Amazon Alexa into its product range. This system is already recognised for appearing on some smartphones, but it is a real novelty for the automotive world. It is an interactive assistant with voice control that provides the driver with all kinds of information without the need to take their eyes off the road.

These two awards position SEAT as one of the most valued brands in the world and grant it great prestige. Thanks to its new vehicles and the latest technology they incorporate, the Spanish brand will achieve a large number of sales throughout 2018.
