Just a few hours ago we showed you the first details of the car of the week, the Focus RS500. Today, Ford unveiled another promotional video of the new Focus, just as spectacular as the previous one, in which we see the new heavyweight of Ford driving on the road, allowing us to better appreciate the aggressive character inherent in the RS500 (after the jump).

We have already told you about the five-cylinder 2.5 Duratec turbocharged engine, basically the same engine as the Focus RS, but this time offering 350 CV. Performance is in line with what is expected from the model, reaching 5.6 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, a few tenths faster than the previous RS “standard” version.

Ford claims that the top speed remains at 263 km/h, as does the homologated average consumption (9.4 l/100 km), values similar to its predecessor. As for the other features, it will keep front-wheel drive, although the only criticism, and something that would have been welcome, is that Ford could have made a little more effort to offer it with all-wheel drive.
