Shall we take a spin in the Nissan Leaf Nismo RC?

Imagine a driver going round and round a track behind the wheel of a Nissan Leaf Nismo RC. The first thing they will miss is the characteristic noise of the engine, the transmission and the brakes. The second is the absence of a gear-shifting device.
Anyone who gets behind the wheel of a Leaf Nismo RC, or any electric car, will realise there is hardly anything better than an electric motor with constant torque, which turns the Leaf into little more than a go-kart. With a light touch on the accelerator and a bit of countersteering, we have a decent lap in this Leaf, although, of course, at half the speed of any track car. The video is after the jump.
