Singer Turbo Study: a perfectly modernised 911 Turbo

The most popular creator of 911 restomods has once again done his thing, presenting this Singer Turbo Study, a 911 964 transformed into a magnificent 930 Turbo

Singer Turbo Study

Without a doubt, Singer has managed to crown itself as one of the best creators of restomods specialising in Porsche in the world. Its sublime creations based on classic 911s from different generations have won over those of us who love this iconic model, even becoming the wet dream of many.

This time, its latest creation is called Singer Turbo Study, and it is a Porsche 911 964 that has been modified to look like a 930 Turbo while keeping the distinctive details of that beautiful generation, which debuted the turbocharged engine for the first time in its history.

Improving on the unimprovable

Starting with the exterior, the new Singer wears an elegant colour called Wolf Blue, covering its carbon-fibre bodywork. Combined with its large engine cooling intake, the various parts of its bumper and its whaletail spoiler with black edging, this colour gives it a spectacular presence.

As we have already said, the proportions have been kept almost identical to those of the standard 930, with its wide hips and that truly unmistakable silhouette, to which, as could only be expected, Fuchs-style alloy wheels like those fitted to the original model have been added.

Perfect in every respect

Moving inside, Singer knows very well how to do things, so they have fitted a dashboard with the same traditional layout of five analogue gauges for the instrument cluster, a small but discreet screen for the multimedia system, and Malibu Sand upholstery covering the aforementioned dashboard, door panels, centre console and even its new heated, electrically adjustable seats.

Under its bonnet, Singer has fitted a 3.8-litre six-cylinder boxer engine and two turbochargers with an electric wastegate, producing no less than 450 CV, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox to deliver a unique driving experience. Its new, specifically tuned suspension system and powerful carbon-ceramic braking system are also key to this.
