Skoda A-Entry: the final result of the MissionL
The Skoda A-Entry will be the successor to the Octavia and the new vehicle based on the MissionL.

Skoda has ambitious plans for 2012, announcing new models every six months and the update of its current range, along with the arrival of its own version of the Up! But by the end of 2011 the A-Entry, the production version of the MissionL, is already taking shape.
The A-Entry will be based on what is now the Volkswagen Polo, although in size it will rival the Golf and the Octavia itself, which the A-Entry will replace. In terms of engines, diesel and petrol variants of the Polo and Golf engines are announced, along with the aforementioned Greenline version.
Skoda says the A-Entry will be almost 80% of what the MissionL is (everything except the Polo’s chassis) and that it will be ready to go on sale in the first months of 2013 as a saloon or 5-door, another of the options being considered within Skoda.
The brand’s move toward more generous models in size opens up a new segment for it and perhaps more opportunities for buyers looking for an alternative to Volkswagen, without straying too far from it.
