The McLaren MP4-12C has set a lap of 7:28 in the hands of Horst von Saurma, of Sport Auto.
Fans of the growing number of McLaren MP4-12C owners will be pleased to know that the magazine Sport Auto managed to lap the Nürburgring in one of these beauties in 7:28.
The catch with this lap is that McLaren did not set it officially; instead, it was carried out on behalf of the publication in question, with its works test driver, Horst von Saurma. Even so, the time beat that of the Ferrari 458 (driven by the same von Saurma) and came close to matching the old record of the Porsche Carrera GT and the Nissan GT-R.
The first thing we will see is a review of the earlier preparation phase of the MP4-12C, even before it went on sale, before moving on to the phase in which it set the time. We won’t see the full lap, but here is a fairly complete preview.

Siempre he tenido la duda de si estas vueltas se hace con las ayudas puestas o se desconecta todo.. alguna idea?? Buen tiempo la verdad, sabeis el del mclaren f1??
Hola kikek: buena pregunta lo de las ayudas, sería cuestión de hacer algunas averiguaciones al respecto. Sobre el F1, parece que nunca se le ha tomado el tiempo, o al menos nadie lo ha registrado en la lista de tiempos.
