Study on sports cars and women

I have to say I was genuinely shocked after reading this news story, which I’ll share with you now. The John Molson School of Business in Canada has decided to find out which activity is more exciting for the average man: driving a Porsche 911 alone and unseen by anyone, or getting into a Toyota Camry of the kind that filled our roads in the 90s, with 5 scantily clad girls.

The result is clear: a man produces more testosterone driving a Porsche 911 than sitting in an ordinary car with 5 smoking-hot women. Quite a peculiar finding, since what this Canadian school seems to be trying to demonstrate is that driving has a marked sexual character.

Many car adverts use attractive women (in fact, many adverts for anything at all use attractive women), recalling with particular emphasis the one for the new Chevrolet, when it bought Daewoo, in which a girl lay across the bonnet of a car because it was a Chevrolet, and the wiper splashed her with water.

But the truth is that results like these surprise anyone: we assume attractive women are everywhere, not just in car industry advertising. Let each reader draw their own conclusions from this very particular study, which is sure to stir up some controversy.
