Subaru Crosstrek 4Wild, an exclusive limited edition with extensive standard equipment

The Subaru Crosstrek benefits from the exclusive limited-edition 4Wild at an attractive price, adopting equipment from the Field and Touring trim levels

The Subaru Crosstrek, formerly known as the XV, is the entry-level crossover in the Japanese brand’s line-up thanks to its superb offroad abilities and an all-wheel drive system that has always been regarded as one of the best, all backed by Subaru’s robust boxer engine, which these days also embraces hybrid technology.

Subaru is now presenting the 4Wild edition of the Crosstrek, which, in the brand’s own words, “draws directly from a history marked by vehicles with a strong personality”. And be warned, because it will be built as a limited edition of just 100 units, which, together with the generous equipment it receives, makes it a very worthwhile option to consider, especially once we tell you its price below.

Its front end, with a mesh-style grille, is complemented by a vinyl that includes the 4Wild decoration of this edition, symbolised by the drawing of a mountain, on whose trails the Crosstrek 4Wild will feel right at home. On the side we find specific lower mouldings, the bottom part of which features a vinyl, which is also applied to the C-pillar, along with the 4Wild logo on the front door. At the rear, the roof slopes down over the tailgate, which has a black vinyl surrounding the brand’s logo, as well as a specific protector in the loading area. The whole package is rounded off by alloy wheels with an orange touch.

Inside the Subaru Crosstrek 4Wild, a series of vinyls have been fitted around the door frames, as well as a steering wheel with orange details together with a 4Wild plate and, bearing in mind that this limited edition is also designed for use off the tarmac, easy-to-clean rubber mats have been installed. In terms of equipment, the Crosstrek 4Wild is developed on the basis of the Field and Touring trim levels, a blend that delivers a high level of equipment with items such as the following:

Mechanically, the Subaru Crosstrek 4Wild uses the familiar e-BOXER hybrid powertrain, which employs a 2.0 four-cylinder Boxer engine delivering a maximum output of 153 CV and 248 Nm of torque, combined with the seven-speed Lineartronic gearbox with an integrated electric motor, sending power to all four wheels through the permanent Symmetrical AWD all-wheel drive system.

The Subaru Crosstrek 4Wild can now be ordered in Spain at the brand’s dealerships with a price starting from 36,300 euros.
