The Japanese brand has designed a concept car for the video game Gran Turismo 7, powered by a Hayabusa engine and three electric motors producing 432 CV.

Video games based on the automotive world are getting closer and closer to the real world. Brands even propose concept models that can be used in video games, but with each manufacturer’s official license. So, in general, these vehicles can use technology that exists and that could be built in the real world.

The Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo Concept is one of these digital vehicles based on real models, but with something that makes them more special. In this case, it is a model similar to the Swift without a roof, but with a more robust and dynamic shape. The designers have let their imagination run wild and have created a cabin with two exposed seats, which helps create a sense of speed and dynamism.

The front has much of the Swift’s DNA. The large front grille, the air intakes and the headlight design are reminiscent of the model, and the bonnet is elongated, although the engine is mounted in a mid-engine position, behind the cabin. At the rear you can see the twin exhaust mounted in the center of the rear end, so it is clear it is not an electric car.

In fact, the engine of this virtual car is a 1.34-litre block, Hayabusa-derived. It works in combination with three electric motors, two mounted on the front axle and one on the rear. The combined power is 318 kW, equivalent to 432 CV and a maximum torque of 610 Nm.

These are not very spectacular figures, but thanks to the contribution of racing technology, the total weight is 970 kg. Yes, it is not a car we will ever see on the roads, but it will be a pleasure to drive it in the game and feel the power offered by this very attractive and exciting solution proposed by the Japanese manufacturer.
