Model X Tesla Electric Cars SUV
Tesla Model X Unveiled, an SUV That Accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 Seconds

Tesla is, in today’s automotive landscape, what Apple is in the field of consumer technology.
Now, after the resounding success of the Model S, the American brand is launching into a new segment with the Model X, an SUV with features that make it unique.
Practically everyone knows the Model S, Tesla’s full-size saloon, a vehicle with a very attractive design combined with a high-tech interior in which minimalism and “the digital” dominate over everything analogue.
With the Model X, the brand wants to broaden its horizons and reach an even greater number of potential buyers, in anticipation of a rapid expansion that Tesla already takes for granted. This new model from the American company becomes the first fully electric SUV on the global market.

The exterior design of the Model X instantly reminds us of the Model S, although slightly more “bulky”, which is logical considering that the Model S is a saloon and the Model X an SUV. However, the basic features of the Tesla family are present, with a sharp front end in which air intakes are conspicuous by their absence.
The rear and side views stand out for the increased height, necessary to comfortably accommodate 7 occupants. Of course, the star feature is the rear doors, with a “falcon wing” opening that will delight those who enjoy attracting attention.
Inside, the cabin is similar to that of the Model S, with more space in every dimension. In addition, a panoramic front windscreen is fitted, improving brightness and the sense of space, a well-considered solution to compensate for the absence of a sunroof, technically impossible to include due to the opening system of the rear doors.

Mechanically, the Model X will be offered in two versions. Although both will be commercially named P90D, the first will deliver 518 CV, an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and 414 km of range, while the second stands out with 762 CV and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. A software “upgrade” will be available that includes the “Ludicrous Speed” mode, with which the Model X will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.
In addition to these completely monstrous figures, the Model X also includes among its equipment systems such as adaptive air suspension, a first-class multimedia system, camera and radar-based preventive safety systems, or an intelligent air conditioner with a mode that creates positive pressure in the cabin to improve the respiratory health of its occupants.
