Tesla's Cybertruck needs a proper garage: meet the Cybunker
It’s called the Cybunker and it’s a garage specially built for the Cybertruck. It offers more than 200 square meters in total to store more than one car.

Following all the controversy after the unveiling of the company’s new all-electric model, Elon Musk‘s company now wants to go one step further. The Tesla Tesla Cybertruck doesn’t look like any other pickup truck on the market, so design firm Lars Buro has just imagined the perfect garage for Elon Musk‘s latest creation, and called it… well, the Cybunker.
The design inspiration for the Cybunker is clearly taken from the first Tesla pickup truck with sharp edges, straight lines and a sinister dark grey finish.
According to the company, the special garage is built around a
high-strength steel monocoque chassis and, thanks to its nearly 60 square meters of vehicle space, has more than enough room to store the Cybertruck plus another vehicle and any tools an owner might need.
The Cybunker not only acts as the perfect place to keep a Tesla Cybertruck safe, but also features 167 square meters of additional space that could be used for commercial purposes or as an apartment.
Would you live in the Cybunker designed especially for the Tesla Tesla Cybertruck?
The renderings released by the design company show the Cybunker in several different settings, from the Arctic Circle to Mars. And while we think the Red Planet is the most fitting, given Elon Musk’s aspirations, the one sitting on the property next to the ocean probably looks best.
That said, this isn’t just a concept; speaking with some sources, Lars Buro said he really intends to build the Cybunker. Of course, although it is aimed at
Cybertruck owners, one could buy the garage and store other vehicles inside if they wish.
For now, the company is working on armored glass for the Cybunker and it could even fit an air lock. Expect pricing and availability details to be announced in 2020.
You may have heard, but the
Tesla Tesla Cybertruck will have trouble fitting into a standard garage. It’s not a unique problem for the electric truck: many pickups barely fit, but it’s hard to imagine any vehicle other than a Cybertruck being the catalyst for what you see here.
The company has indicated that the plan is to put this structure into production at 100%. Lars Buro calls it a “high-tech depot” or an “accessory dwelling unit.” It really is a super stylish garage for the Cybertruck in which someone can also live. The structure is also self-sufficient, with solar glass on the roof and a battery system at the base of the bunker.
Honestly, it looks like a place where a
James Bond villain would spend their time, but that’s also a compliment. You can even install an air lock on the structure and the windows are armored. Where have I heard similar features explained before… oh right, the Cybertruck.
