Transporter Volkswagen Furgonetas Tuning
TH Automobile turns your transporter into something more than a tuned "van"

Personally, I have never been especially impressed by seeing a tuned car, let alone when we are talking about a Volkswagen Transporter, although I must admit that the project presented by TH Automobile is more than simple cosmetic touch-ups or fitting a set of new wheels.
Specifically, we are talking about enormous 20-inch multi-spoke wheels that reveal something much more interesting behind them, and that perhaps shouldn’t be there: a sport suspension that looks completely out of place on a Transporter, or an exhaust system perhaps too powerful to be fitted to an “ordinary, everyday van“.

Well, if this has already got you suspicious when you look at the rear of the “van” and discover the huge exhaust outlet of a fully customised system that lets you hear the heartbeat of a far more sporty engine than the original, you’ll really believe it when you see that the vehicle on screen is capable of putting any sports compact you might find on a track to shame.
Specifically, we are looking at a Transporter fitted with an enormous 3.6-litre flat-six engine taken from a 911 Turbo, specifically the 2004/2008 version, a supercar whose engine block famously dazzled the whole world with its 480 horsepower and 620 Nm of peak torque, with which the little Transporter is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds or reach a top speed of 280 km/h.
As for the interior, there are high-quality details such as new upholstery and trim in high-quality leather matching the exterior colour, a steering wheel and instrument cluster from the original car, a 360-degree camera, a fridge, iPad holders, floors made of wood, a DVD and DVB-T player, and a Kendwood system…
