Almost a year and a half ago, Porsche celebrated having reached 100,000 units produced of the Cayenne at the brand’s factory in Leipzig, Germany. Now the model reaching this figure is the Porsche Panamera, demonstrating the sales success of the saloon within the premium segment.

The Porsche Panamera has been manufactured at the Leipzig plant since the renowned Stuttgart house decided to put it into series production in 2009. Today it is present in more than 120 countries and, according to the chairman of the board of management of Porsche, Sigfried Bülow, what customers value most is the sportiness and quality of the Panamera.

The unit with which the round figure of 100,000 Panameras is reached corresponds to the S E-Hybrid plug-in hybrid version, with a total output of 416 CV and which, thanks to the hybrid system, its consumption drops to 3.1 litres per 100 kilometres with CO2 emissions of 71 grams per kilometre.
