It seems it has always been there, in the memory of many drivers or as a legend for many others. The iconic 600 was the car that allowed Spaniards of the 1960s to access cars, and it remains as the “people’s car” of our country. The iconic model of Seat turns 60 this year, so it is the right time to pay it the tribute it deserves. And this will take place at the classic car show held over the weekend of 24 to 26 February, at the Pabellón de Cristal in the Casa de Campo in the Spanish capital.

This show will host more than 300 exhibitors, who will come from about ten countries and will offer motor enthusiasts everything they need to make their classic vehicles look the best they can and, moreover, run as they did on the first day. There will be product stands from manufacturers, restorers, collectors, accessories, spare parts, publications, add-ons, insurance, textiles, etc., so that you can find everything for the cars of participants and visitors alike.

In addition, there will be an offer of restored classic cars and motorcycles so that enthusiasts can buy them if they are interested. At this eighth edition the main attraction will undoubtedly be the Seat 600, but it will not be the only one present that will catch visitors’ attention. The brands Seat and Porsche are actively taking part and will for the first time be joined by Abarth. The brand will pay tribute to the Abarth 124 Spider, comparing the classic model with the new version it launched last year, so visitors will not only see old models but also enjoy this reinterpretation of the car.

For its part, Porsche will pay tribute to the 928, which also marks an important anniversary, the first 40 years of its existence. This grand coupé was one of the major bets of the German brand and can also be admired at the Madrid event. Alongside them, there will be units of Aston Martin, Mercedes, Jaguar, Hispano Suiza, Rolls Royce and Packard, among others.

A tribute to Formula 1 driver Emilio de Villota, an Elegance Contest and other parallel activities will make the Casa de Campo a place to enjoy classic cars and the whole world around them.
