The Abarth 595 Competizione gains 20 CV of power

Fiat renews the Abarth range with the new Abarth 595 Competizione. It offers 180 horsepower, placing it halfway between the Abarth 595 Turismo’s 160 horsepower and the Abarth Biposto’s 190 horsepower.
Compared with the previous year’s model, the Abarth has gained an extra 20 CV for a total of 180 CV and 250 Nm. The manual version goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, with the automatic versions slower, taking 6.9 seconds. In both cases the top speed is 225 km/h, and combined consumption is 6 l/100 km for the manual and 5.8 l/100 km for the automatic.
In addition, the 2015 range will have a new “standard” colour. Campovolo grey is replaced by Officina Rojo as the no-cost colour option.
It also features a Record Monza exhaust system, 17-inch alloy wheels with a titanium finish, Brembo brakes, red brake calipers, a sporty leather steering wheel, Sabelt sport seats, xenon headlights, rear parking sensors and aluminium pedals.
This version is available with a coupé bodystyle as well as its convertible variant, the Abarth 595c Competizione. It is also available with a 5-speed manual gearbox or an automatic transmission.
