The Peugeot 108 Roland Garros also goes on sale in Spain

During the last week of April, while Peugeot announced the launch of the Roland Garros special edition of the 108 in certain European countries such as France and the United Kingdom, the Spanish subsidiary presented the 108 Open exclusively for Spain. This overlap of special editions led us to think that our Open would play the role of the foreign Roland Garros. But Peugeot has finally decided to market both in the Spanish market.
The 108 Roland Garros was presented at the last Geneva Motor Show and, compared with the limited Open edition Open, it is only slightly more striking than the latter. This is partly because the decorative motifs on the mirrors, the specific badges, the 15″ alloy wheel covers and the upper edge of the windscreen display a more eye-catching colour evoking the clay of tennis courts.

That same tone highlights certain areas of the cabin, such as the dashboard, which features other exclusive trim, or the door panels, as well as the stitching on the seat upholstery and floor mats. This orange tone is also applied, thirdly, to the button for keyless access and starting the vehicle, a feature the Open did not have.
The 108 Roland Garros is available in two exterior colours, Lipizan White and Caldera Black, and, unlike the Open, is only available with the TOP! bodywork. Like that edition, it is based on the Allure trim level, which comes as standard with electric and heated mirrors, fog lights, leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, speed limiter and radio with touchscreen and Mirror Screen function, among other features.
It is on sale with the 1.2 PureTech engine producing 82 horsepower at a starting price of 14,550 euros, the same amount that the 108 Open with TOP! bodywork costs.
