The AFEELA 1 from Honda will keep you connected to your PlayStation 5 thanks to its connectivity

Honda is finalising the launch of the AFEELA 1, a model in which connectivity will be present and offer many options to make it a highly connected car. Among the many connectivity features is the collaboration between Sony and Honda, which will allow the owner’s entire PlayStation 5 library to be available on board the car.

To achieve this, the AFEELA will rely on three technological pillars. First, it has a SIM card built into the vehicle, which gives it smooth access to the internet. The second is a stable 5 Mbps connection, and the third is, of course, a PlayStation 5 connected at home.

This can be connected through the PS Remote Play feature, which provides access to the console’s entire game library. In this way, the interior of the car can be turned into an interactive lounge where you can enjoy the games stored on the console.

The system is very intuitive, as the games are streamed through the car’s screen and audio system. The DualSense controller is used to control the games and load them onto the on-board system. This is not just a gaming tool; it acts as a technological bridge between PlayStation platforms and AFEELA.

This integration also means that, through the DualSense controller, certain car functions can be controlled, so it works in both directions. This system will only work when the car is parked, charging, or during a rest stop on the journey. With this functionality, AFEELA demonstrates its commitment to making travelling with its models not just a way of getting from A to B, but a unique experience like none before in a car.
