The Aiways U6 is already prepared to mark its arrival in Spain at the end of 2022

After bringing the Aiways U5 to our country, the Chinese brand is now ready to mark the arrival date of its next model in our market. The Aiways U6 has been going through several tests to fine-tune the final adjustments, and the production order is about to be issued at the Shangrao factory, where this model will be built.

The electric SUV coupé has successfully passed the snow tests carried out in HeilongJiang, a province in northeastern China. During these tests the vehicle was driven for up to 15,000 kilometres in intense cold, with temperatures reaching -30º.

We know the date, but not the model’s details

We know when this model will reach our market, but we have no information about the electric powertrain it will feature. What we can expect is that it will repeat the figures and layout of the Aiways U5, so we will be looking at an SUV coupé offering an output equivalent to 204 CV, with a 63 kWh battery. The lithium-ion battery provides a range of 410 kilometres. This is, at least, the figure for the previous model.

As for charging capacity, it can accept a power of up to 90 kW, which allows fast charging that can get the battery operational in a short time. As for equipment, nothing has been announced either, so we can assume this will be very similar to what is offered on the Aiways U5.

The new model can be purchased in the same way as the Aiways U5, that is, through the brand’s website. The Aiways Store is where interested buyers place their orders, and they can also look for the official Aiways dealers the brand has in several Spanish cities.
